เป็นระยะเวลาช่วงหนึ่งที่ทาง Apple ต้องดีใจอย่างต่อเนื่องกับยอดขายของ iPhone 6 และ iPhone 6 Plus ที่เรียกได้ว่ามาแรงแซงโค้งในช่วงไตรมาสที่ 4 ประจำปี 2014 จริงๆ ครับ แถมในไตรมาสที่ 1 ของปี 2015 นี้ ยอดขายของทั้ง 2 รุ่นก็ยังคงมาแรงเรื่อยๆ (ถึงแม้ว่าจะมีปัญหาเรื่องของเครื่องสามารถที่จะงอได้ง่ายในช่วงแรกๆ ก็ตาม) และถึงแม้ว่าในวันเปิดงาน MWC 2015 ที่ผ่านมานั้น Samsung Galaxy S6 จะแย่งความสนใจจากสื่อไปได้ทั้งหมด แต่ทว่ารางวัล Best Smartphone จากทาง GSMA นั้นกลับไม่หันไปหา Samsung Galaxy S5 แม้แต่น้อยครับ(รวมไปถึง HTC One M8 ด้วยครับ)
สิ่งหนึ่งที่ Apple อาจจะไม่ถูกใจเท่าไรก็คือรางวัล Best Smartphone(เฉพาะที่มีวางจำหน่ายแล้วอย่างเป็นทางการ) ที่ทาง GSMA จัดให้นั้น iPhone 6 และ iPhone 6 Plus จะต้องไปแบ่งรางวัลนี้กับ LG G3 ครับ ซึ่งเรื่องนี้ก็ทำให้หลายๆ คนถึงกับงงไปตามๆ กันว่าทำไมหวยถึงมาลงที่ LG G3 ได้(ทั้งที่มีคนคาดว่าน่าจะเป็น HTC One M8 มากกว่าเพราะ LG นั้นถือได้ว่าเป็นมวยรองครับ) แต่ทว่าเมื่อประกาศผลออกมาแล้ว LG เองก็ได้รับรางวัล Best Smartphone แบ่งกับ iPhone 6 และ iPhone 6 Plus ไปครับ
พูดถึงมวยรองแล้วยังมีอีกบริษัทหนึ่งที่คงผิดหวังกับรางวัลในงาน MWC 2015 ที่ผ่านมาครับ อย่างบริษัท Motorola ที่มี Moto 360, Moto E และ Moto G ที่หลายๆ คนคาดว่าน่าไม่น่าจะได้รับรางวัลอะไรแต่กลับกลายเป็นว่าได้รับรางวัลถึง 2 รางวัลอย่าง Best Low Cost Smartphone กับ Moto E และ Best Wearable Mobile Technology กับ Moto 360 ส่วนทางด้านแท็บเล็ตนั้นทาง Microsoft ก็สามารถที่จะส่ง Microsoft Surface Pro 3 ชิงรางวัล Best Mobile Tablet ตัดหน้าคู่แข่งอย่าง iPad Air 2 ไปได้ครับ
